After an extensive environmental impact analysis conducted in 2008, Enics decided that the focus for the environmental responsibility is on waste reduction, recycling, offering product life-cycle extension services to customers and aiming at production close to our customers and suppliers. These actions will reduce our environmental footprint.

The Enics business units operate according to an environmental management system and have the ISO 14001 certification for the system. The certification requires that the business units continually improve their environmental performance and expand the environmental awareness of the employees.

As an EMS company, Enics is aware of the REACH regulations and their potential implications to and obligations on the business. REACH is a new European Union regulation concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of CHemicals. The regulation came into force in June 2007. We take needed actions to ensure the continuity of product supplies to our customers.
