Rainer Binkert, SMT -Expert, Enics Switzerland

Hello! My name is Rainer Binkert and I am in charge of the expert group Surface Mounted Technology (SMT) in the production of Enics Switzerland in Turgi.

What is your field of activity?

Being responsible for the expert office SMT I am in charge of the introduction, im-provement and controlling of processes and of the evaluation of new production plants. Training employees is also a central part of my work.

Since when have you been doing this job?

I took on my responsibilities around 2002.

What do you like about your work?

It’s challenging to find the ideal requirements for a smooth production with help of various new technologies. And I enjoy introducing improvements and converting them into action. Furthermore I appreciate the good contact with my colleagues, customers, visitor groups and suppliers.

What do you appreciate about Enics?

At Enics I am part of a cosmopolitan, dynamic company. Especially important to me are the facts that I can bring in new impetus, that my superiors are open to dia-logues and that they give me enough scope in my work.
