OHSAS 18001 is an international occupational health and safety management system specification. OHSAS aims to control and minimize health and safety risks to employees and other stakeholders, reduce potential for accidents, and improve the risk management to address e.g. changing legislation. To be compliant, business unit needs to define and implement their health and safety policies, procedures and employee practices.
