PRESS RELEASE, 11 December 2009, 13.00 EET in Elva, Estonia – Enics long term efforts to improve recycling and take care of our environment were once again rewarded by Ragn Sells, a well-known resource and waste management company, with the award “Recycler of the year 2009” in Estonia. The Estonian Business Unit of Enics, one of the world’s leading Electronics Manufacturing Services providers in industrial and medical electronics, received this award for the second time after the honour in 2007.
Enics was one of six companies to receive the award this year. Elva Plant received this award due to good waste collection system that allows recycling most of the waste (the share of waste recycling is over 60%) and also because of the environmental management system and employee training program. Enics in Elva has e.g. a special section for waste handling and recycling as part of our new employee training program.
