Enics Introduces Enics Code of Conduct - working with high ethical standards
APRIL 30, 2009 -
Enics has now become an internationally recognized player and Enics employs approximately 2500 people in China, Estonia, Finland, Slovakia, Sweden and Switzerland. As we live in a “Global World” we need to interpret certain things in a same way. What is right in my country can have other meaning in other countries.
Enics is a good corporate citizen in each country we conduct our business in. This means that we always act according to laws of each location and behind our activities we have high moral.  Enics wants to act responsibly and sustainably with high ethical standards. There are many areas where this comes true, like respect for human rights and environmental responsibility.
As "Enicsians" we respect and promote human rights in our working environment. Therefore we do not tolerate discrimination based on people's race, colour, disability, nationality, age or gender. Based on human rights, any kind of harassment is also fully unacceptable in our company. As an employer Enics does not use child or forced labour, and we all contribute to make our workplace even more safe and healthy.
Enics partners are handled according to Enics values, and according to Enics code of conduct. They are also expected to conduct their business in compliance with the same high legal, ethical, environmental and employee related standards that Enics itself applies.
From the ethical point of view we have to consider what kind of world we leave to next generations and thus we take responsibility of our environment. In this area we focus on life-extension service and our target is to reduce waste. We aim to reduce our carbon footprint and therefore we also focus on reducing our air travel.
